It’s that time of the year where giving is free, and worthwhile organizations accomplish incredible things. The level of care we take for our customers stems from our heart to serve our community, and recently we participated in the Salvation Army Redding Corps “Stuff the Bus”. The goal was to curate toys for kids in need this season. We had an amazing time helping and it was another reminder of the incredible organizations we have in this community, many of which we support! Here are a few other organizations we care for, and why we love them!

United Shasta

A fan favorite for sure! Led by the fearless Robert Balke, they exist to help the people with anything they need. They have made a tremendous impact in our community at a grass roots level as well as on a larger scale. What we love about them is their genuine heart for people, and their willingness to serve. Even at a moment's notice, they are there for people, even at their most challenging moments. 

Empower Tehama

The mission of Empower Tehama is to “promote healthy relationships and social change in our community.” They have done an incredible job breaking the cycle of domestic violence among other very needed topics. They have a 24 crisis hotline along with an emergency shelter when necessary. What we love about them is their commitment to healthy families. It’s said that healthy families create healthy communities, and there’s no doubt that their impact has made our community an even better place!

Youth & Family Programs

Youth & Family Programs has an incredible quote on their website. It says “Families don’t have to match. You don’t have to look like someone else to love them”. Inspiring love and connection between families is of the highest priority, and Youth & Family Programs does just that! Whether it’s providing support for foster care, or connection between birth families, Their heart is to see kids and families loved and taken care of.
