Mold Cleanup - Don't Do it Yourself

Mold damage discovered

This "do-it-yourselfer" had an extensive water leak in the roof. After calling a few local companies he decided the charges were more then he could afford. After a few hours on "google" and "YouTube” he thought the job seemed simple enough. Mr. “do-it-yourself” rented a carpet cleaner and bought a small dehumidifier to complete the job. After a few days of running the machines he decided it "was good enough".

Within a week he started noticing a musty smell. He called "SERVPRO of North Shasta, Trinity and Greater Tehama Counties”. All he wanted to do was deodorize the home, however our technicians wanted to find the location of the smell.  After pulling the baseboards and the corners of the carpet up, we noticed immediately  the water and the mold starting.

After the initial inspection was done we provided him with a full estimate to fix the damages. He was shocked at how much lower our estimate was from all the others he had received. Within hours we began our work, returning his home to "like new" condition in only two weeks!
