Air Smoke Purifier

As fires are common in the north state, smoke-filled air has become expected through the summer months. Usually, the air quality stays at a reasonable level. There are times though, when the fire is close enough, that measures should be taken for the sake of our health. Thankfully there have been ways that we can help.
Local Icon & Businesses Affected
In 2018 we experienced a string of fires that devastated our community. One of the businesses affected was Turtle Bay. An iconic and loved place in Redding, Turtle Bay is home to over 64 different animal species on 300 acres of land. When the fires ignited, not only were flames a danger but the smoke as well. Good AQI or air quality index ranges on a scale from 1-50. As Sharon Clay, the Animal Programs Curator of Turtle Bay, explains “the AQI inside the building was over 300”. This was far from safe for the animals. Click here for full video.
Here To Help
As our slogan states, we are “Here to help”. We take great pride and joy in being of service to our community, and this time it proved to be beneficial not only to people but the animals of Turtle Bay as well! We placed our air scrubbers in the building of Turtle Bay, creating a safe, breathable, indoor environment for the animals. Once our scrubbers ran, it dropped the AQI of the buildings into the single digits.
Our recent wildfires once again filled the air with smoke. The need to clean smoke from the air arose and Turtle Bay gave us a call. Of course, we were happy to be of service again, and will any time they call!
Clean Air For You Too
These instances are quite common in the North State as is the need for clean air. At SERVPRO of North Shasta, Trinity & Greater Tehama Counties, keeping our community safe and healthy is a driving factor behind what we do. We were happy to help Turtle Bay, and we would be happy to help you as well. Clean air is only a call away!
If the current smoke is infiltrating your home or business, don’t hesitate to call, we would love to help!
