The heart of the matter
How does a company stay relevant? At the heart of most companies marketing programs, this is the question they are trying to answer. Suggestions range from cultural awareness to trends, and recently even influencer marketing. Now while these strategies have their place and can be effective, we believe the idea of staying relevant is not in determining what the world is currently doing but what the world needs.
Every company carries distinct values that drive its decisions. Over the past few years, we have begun to ask one very important question, "what are the values that we carry, and how do those values meet the needs of the people in Shasta County and the surrounding areas?" After almost a year's worth of digging and feedback, here is what we have found, along with the ways we approach every opportunity we have to serve our community!
As we began to dig into the hearts of those in our company, we found a simple yet strong common thread, we all genuinely care about people and their wellbeing. We asked the question, “why do we do what we do?” Behind the work of water damage restoration, or fire damage restoration, we found that we simply wanted to help people in their time of need. We realized that was the joy behind our work, and everyone from our restoration techs to our office staff felt the same way. That became the drive behind every interaction with our customers.
Restoring more than your property
Once we had revealed our hearts, we wanted a better definition of what we do. As much as we enjoy work like mold remediation or biohazard cleanup, we knew there was more we aimed to accomplish with every interaction. Often we walked into situations with elevated stress and emotions running high. We saw the need people had in these moments that could be filled by the value we carry, and a phrase emerged "more than just your property, we aim to restore your peace of mind."
How we operate
We felt we had a richer understanding of who we were and what makes us tick, but we wanted to find ways to apply that to our day-to-day work. Through researching the feedback of our customers, we found two attributes seen in the work we do.
